Сидим на работе с коллегой.
Я пишу про очередные страсти этнических чисток в Судане, он - про коллекционные машины.
Я разбираю стенограммы свидетельств всяких несчастных матерей из лагерей беженцев в Чаде, у которых детям головы отрубали на их глазах, - а он каждую минуту дергает: "Нет, ты посмотри, какой кайф! Линкольн 75-го года! Это же мечта, а не машина! Всего сто тысяч шекелей! Или Порш серебристый, просто сказка!" И так второй час.
В итоге не выдержала: "Б..., на что люди деньги тратят, когда другие дохнут пачками? Клумбу лучше разбили бы или птицеферму построили!"
Он: "А тебе на Кубу пора, социализм с ними строить... Не, ну посмотри, что я еще нашел!"
